Flatbed vs. wheel-lift: which one you need

A flatbed carries the whole vehicle on a tilting deck — the right choice for all-wheel-drive and 4x4 vehicles, lowered or low-clearance cars, EVs, luxury and classic cars, and anything with suspension or wheel damage after a wreck. A wheel-lift truck lifts one axle and tows on the other two wheels; it's quick and handles tight spots like downtown streets and parking lots well, and it's fine for most front- or rear-wheel-drive cars going a short distance.
